First Reconciliation and First Eucharist:
Children preparing to receive First Reconciliation and First Eucharist attend classes beginning each Fall. Preparation classes are held between the morning masses during the school year for children in second grade. Children attending Our Lady of Guadalupe School, receive preparation classes as part of the school second grade curriculum.
Parents are required to attend two parent sessions for each sacrament, and the children from both the Parish and the School share together in a morning retreat before each sacrament is celebrated.
Reconciliation is usually celebrated in December,
and Eucharist is celebrated in the spring following Easter.
Classes begin in September.
