THANK YOU!
"Let us try to be a Chruch that finds new roads, that is able to step outside itself"
~ Pope Francis

I am pleased to share with you the great success of our recent "Increased Offertory Program". This effort was implemented to
support our expanding parish ministries and the mortgage on our wonderful new Parish Life Center/Gymnasium.
You were asked to respond to our parish's vision for the future and did so generously. I am honored and humbled by your support.

We were delighted to received commitment cards from nearly sixty percent of our parishioners that gave in some capacity last year as well as new commitments from 62 households. Thank you to all who made an increased giving commitment and to those who are maintaining their previous commitment. We are counting on the remaining households to continue their generosity and encourage you to submit a commitment card for whatever gift you decide is appropriate.

During one of my homilies about our Increased Offertory Program, I pointed out that you are the heart of the church. You have shown yourselves
to be generous and responsive heart.

3 Easy Ways to Turn in Your Commitment for 2014
ONLINE  www.olgseattle.org  - create a profile, add a transaction, under "Sunday Collections" put the amount you wish to donate in the Parish General Fund-Offertory box, under "total" choose the frequency; one-time, weekly, monthly, yearly. You can also set date parameters for start and end dates. Click "continue". Next, from the drop down menu choose checking, savings, or credit/debit card as payment method, enter your information, and click "Process". This will bring up a receipt screen for you to print out for your record.

IN PERSON: Come to the Pastoral Center and fill out your card and turn it in there.

U.S.MAIL: Call or email Peggy Behnken at the Pastoral Center to have a card sent to your house for you to fill out and return.

With gratitude,

Fr. Jack

AMAZON SMILE: Another way to support your parish doing something you already do:
For those of you who do any shopping on line with Amazon, here is information about a program called Amazon Smile where part of your money goes to the charity of your choice.
What is the AmazonSmile Foundation?
The AmazonSmile Foundation is a 501(c)(3) private foundation created by Amazon to administer the AmazonSmile program. All donation amounts generated by the AmazonSmile program are remitted to the AmazonSmile Foundation. In turn, the AmazonSmile Foundation donates those amounts to the charitable organizations selected by our customers. Amazon pays all expenses of the AmazonSmile Foundation; they are not deducted from the donation amounts generated by purchases on AmazonSmile.
How does AmazonSmile work?
When first visiting AmazonSmile, customers are prompted to select a charitable organization from almost one million eligible organizations. In order to browse or shop at AmazonSmile, customers must first select a charitable organization. For eligible purchases at AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price to the customer’s selected charitable organization.

  • Amazon donates 0.5% of the price of your eligible AmazonSmile purchases to the charitable organization of your choice.
  • AmazonSmile is the same Amazon you know. Same products, same prices, same service.
  • Support your charitable organization by starting your shopping atsmile.amazon.com.
