Lectors

Lectors are Catholic lay ministers who proclaim the Sacred Scriptures, lead the Prayers of the Faithful, and make Parish Announcements at our liturgies. They are people of faith who have nurtured a relationship with God and formed their lives on the Gospel. Through study, prayer, and thorough preparation, the lector becomes the means by which God's word touches the hearts of those gathered to hear God speak in the Eucharistic assembly.
