"Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find yest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light." (Mt. 11:28-30).
Pastoral Care is a work of the whole people of God towards one another in meeting the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of the Body of Christ. We are all apart of each other and responsible to one another, especially to those within our community who exist on the margins, the sick, the homebound, those who are their caregivers and all those who grieve. All are welcome and need to know that their presence in our midst matters even if they are no longer able to come physically to the parish.
Therefore, we at OLG seek to identify those who may be in need of pastoral assistance in our parish community. Please review our website for ministries that maybe of help to you or identify ways you can get involved. There are links to community resources that may assistance to you as well. We look forward to working with you as a co-laborer in the field. For more information please contact Pam Stephen-Jordan @ pams.olgseattle.org.
