The Women’s Spiritual Book Group meets to read and discuss aspects of our faith based on chosen study guides. The guides are designed for spiritual enrichment, shared prayer and for fellowship development.
We are currently reading Church of the Holy Spirit - Part one, Acts of the Apostles (1-14). "This thrilling and adventurous book of the Bible, Acts, shows us Christianity being lived for the first time. It takes us to some of the great cities of the ancient world. It introduces us to all kinds of people: apostles, prophets, martyrs, philosophers, governors, kings, merchants, jailers and sailors. It invites us to see the adventure continue in our own lives." Other books that we have read and studied are: People of the Passion, Advent Light, Jerusalem, The Holy City and Walking With Jesus.
Our group meets on the first and third Tuesday of every month from 10:00-11:30 a.m. in the Pastoral Center. All women are welcome to attend with drop-ins welcome. For more information please contact the parish office at 206-935-0358.
